Learning experience and exposure are best sought at COPS. The school has initiated students’ and teachers’ exchange programmes with schools in USA and U.K. Students visited Middlesex Middle School, Darien, USA and the Harrow School in England.
COPS is a member of the United Kingdom – India Education and Research Initiative [UKIERI], a program sponsored by the British Council and funded by BAE systems [British Aerospace Engineering Systems]. The main objective is to prepare joint curriculum projects to enhance better understanding of each other’s culture and teaching practices.

Being a secular institution, we celebrate all festivals to make children feel at home. These celebrations also help students to respect each other’s religion. Ganesha Chaturthi, Onam, Puthari, Christmas and Ramzan are some of the festivals in which everyone participates with great zeal.

Sports and Games

COPS aims at channelizing the physical strength of the students by involving them in a variety of sports. The school harnesses their potential and enables them to attain mental, emotional and physical fitness along with ethics, through sports. The campus provides practice fields for football, hockey and cricket. Children can make use of basketball, volleyball, throwball and badminton courts. The school also has a vast playground with a 400 m track. Children can equip themselves with the skills of indoor games like carom, chess, table tennis, etc. The school also organizes a cricket coaching camp in the month of April every year.

National Cadet Corps

The school has NCC Junior and Senior wings for both boys and girls. Our NCC cadets have attended many district and state level camps and won accolades in various activities. COPS has also played host to National Integration Camp which was attended by over 700 cadets from all over India during the academic year 2010-2011. NCC has inspired many cadets to take up Marine Engineering, Airforce, Defence forces and Merchant Navy.

The library services form an integral part of our vision of quality education. The school has two separate libraries for the junior and senior sections. The library is well stocked with books covering all spheres of subjects. There are books on different languages, science, autobiographies, encyclopedias, dictionaries, fiction, reference books, journals, etc. The school subscribes to many national and international magazines and all major dailies. The students have two compulsory periods for library per week and are encouraged and trained to make effective use of it.
