The school is an active member of the IAYP and enables students to achieve awards at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels through a structured programme of activities. This scheme helps students to develop initiative, organizational skills and a sense of responsibility. It provides students an individual challenge and helps them to develop their personality by undertaking activities in the four areas namely Service, Expeditions, Skills & Physical Recreation. The school has organized a National Camp for Award leaders of DEAS and a Residential Project for the gold aspirants of IAYP .

Wonderla Recognises COPS with Special Environment and Energy Conservation Award( WEECA)

‘Conservation is a state of harmony between man and land’. As a part of the initiative and support to the environment and energy conservation movement, WONDERLA, Bangalore, recommends and felicitates schools across the state that practises eco-friendly methods to conserve the environment. This year more than 160 schools from Karnataka and also from Tamil Nadu were in line to clinch the Award. It was a proud moment when COPS bagged the WEECA Special Recognition Award, along with 20 other schools. The Award was presented in the presence of a renowed cine artist, Ms. Kavya Shetty, Wonderla Holidays Managing Director, Mr. Arun. K. Chittilappilly and Bangalore Park Head Mr. Rudresh H.S. at the Award ceremony in Wonderla Amusement Park. Our school received the Award for implementing eco-friendly and green measures.

Exchange Programmes with Schools Abroad

Learning experience and exposure are best sought at COPS. The school has initiated students’ and teachers’ exchange programmes with schools in USA and U.K. Students visited Middlesex Middle School, Darien, USA and the Harrow School in England.
COPS is a member of the United Kingdom – India Education and Research Initiative [UKIERI], a program sponsored by the British Council and funded by BAE systems [British Aerospace Engineering Systems]. The main objective is to prepare joint curriculum projects to enhance better understanding of each other’s culture and teaching practices.
